On December 14th, 2022, Johnny in the Basement delivered a night of incandescent groove music at the legendary Bitter End in downtown NYC. The band was joined by an array of talented musicians from the tri-state area and beyond, including Tom Guarna from the Oteil Burbridge Trio, Brian Murray from Dogs in a Pile, Christian DeMarco and Simon Mogul of NYC, and others. The JITB house band, comprised of Matthew Fox from the Brandon Taz Niederauer Band, Kiran Edwards and Henry Thomas, Danny Circharo and Gavin Gebhardt of the Good Trees River Band, and Will Bart, left no stone unturned in their pursuit of funk. The result was a stunning display of incandescent groove, captured on recordings now available for fans to enjoy.
